The Drachtstersloep 750 was built at the De Drait Yachting boatyard in Drachten. The design is based on earlier lifeboats. Its S-shaped hull design and continuous long keel provide excellent course-keeping and stability. The forward bench seat is set lower, while the seating at the helm is raised to provide a good all-round view.

The boat is powered by an inboard diesel engine. It offers generous seating and comfortable standing room, accommodating up to 12 people on board. It is also equipped with numerous extras to ensure a comfortable day out on the water.
